"Materials Do Matter"

We are continuing to inquire into our unit on "How the World Works" focussing on Materials and Matter. Students have been researching the properties of different materials using varied resources like websites and resource books from the class library. They have learnt a lot of new vocabulary during this unit. They have also watched videos about the states of matter and on properties of materials. They have presented their research using different mediums such as powerpoint and paper presentations depending on their choice. Students experimented with different materials if they 'Sink or Float'.

Ridhi got some information to share about a mark on the crimp of the toothpaste. Her action to share her learning of something new is really appreciative.

In Maths lessons, we tried solving multiplication problems using 'Box Method'. But this time instead of using paper, book or whiteboard we used another resource, can you guess what it is????????

"YES, IT WAS ON THE FLOOR"

Have a look at their pictures :) :)

In English, we had special sessions by Ms Juleen (Master teacher of English). She introduced 6+1 traits of writing which will be continued in classes collaborating with Ms Robin in the future lessons. She used varied sources in order to begin the writing workshop.

With all of these, we had a great week!
